 Could you try finding the exact commit that has caused the problem for you? 
I.e. doing 'svn up -r{YYYYMMDD}' in kwin/ , rebuilding kwin and trying if it 
works or not and bisecting? 

 Also, does export LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 before running kwin change 
anything?
