Yes, that appears to be the problem.  Unfortunately, it isn't just Glib 
-- downgrading only Glib results in Flash not working.  So, there must 
be dependencies on Glib >= 2.12 in GTK-2.12.

So, I would say that this is a bug in Flash Player.

I don't know how GTK works, but I tried opening gEdit and apparently the 
GTK environment doesn't initialize like KDE does since that didn't fix 
the problem.
