As I understand, the delay is not about giving time to add lots of
extra features, it is about getting a release in a state which could
be classified as 'working' and 'reasonably stable' across the field.
Some parts of KDE 4 are in a much more release-worthy state than
others at the moment, that needs evening out.

I've been watching my DVDs, screencasts and streaming media in
Kaffeine 4 recently, which is essentially just a few lines of glue
sticking some Phonon components together.  I suspect we will be okay
for sound and video at the release keynote :)
