It's not extremely efficient, but it does help the stability of the KDE 3 
series. And for someone who wants to fix bugs, this currently might be the 
best thing to do. Of course, if he would like to work on other stuff, he'd 
better do that in trunk, and start bugfixing as soon as we hit feature 
freeze.
