But it does work in Linux machines I have. And it should work IMHO.
AFAICS if application isn't a kdeinit application, exec will be used.
That explains of course why I haven't problems with konsole or konqueror.

I can't launch any non kdeinit application via minicli or menu. While
using minicli only dialog appears that "KDEInit could not launch 'kpdf'".
