Hi there,
KDE programs run on a very diverse set of distros. And very often a program
would like to assist the user by helping them to configure stuff that happens
at start up, A common example is to configure the loading of a given kernel
module at startup.
Is there any kind of framework in place that kde programs could use for
addressing the user's /etc files and figuring out what platform they're
running, whether a program or kernel module is configured to launch/load at
startup or not?
