Thank you very much for the response. I already have some experience
in writing kio_slaves in c++, but this time I want to try to write one
in ruby, I can do it in c++ but I want to try in ruby for several
reasons.

Reading the classes in Korundum I found very little about this and I
don't know if the kio_slave loading mechanism is able to load
something different from a shared library.
