I just tried to recompile an old project of mine built with kdevelop on my 
very current Gentoo system and now I get:

 This Makefile is only for the CVS repository 
 This will be deleted before making the distribution 
 
 *** YOU'RE USING automake (GNU automake) 1.9.6. 
 *** KDE requires automake 1.6 
 make[1]: *** [cvs] Error 1 
 make: *** [all] Error 2 
 
I have automake-wrapper installed but clearly it doesn't work. Can I update 
the tarball somehow, possibly replace the admin directory with a more recent 
one?
