Ok, I believe I don't get what you are trying to do then.
Are you writing a plugin for katepart?
Do you embedd KatePart or a KTextEditor component in your application?
Do you write a patch for KatePart which adds a feature?
What do you mean by "make the word automatic in the correct capital 
letters"?
