KTar does not like the latest version of dante at 
ftp://ftp.inet.no/pub/socks/. 

it complains that the tar file is invalid.

it's happening in:

http://developer.kde.org/documentation/library/cvs-api/kdelibs-apidocs/kio/kio/html/ktar_8cpp-source.html

at readrawheader.

Looking at the header on the file  the checksum appears to the untrained eye 
to be zeroes - though tar itself does not complain. Anyone any idea what's 
going on here?
