At akademy last year, someone showed a very nice class for doing
exactly this sort of thing. You specify the tasks, and specify the
dependancies and let it rip.  It was very neat and hides all the
multithreading from you.

I forget who was doing it or what it was called.  Hopefully someone on
this list will remember?
