No, it is not possible to embed vim into KDevelop since it does not use the 
KTextEditor interfaces. If you want a vim compatible editor, you should take 
a look at yzis (www.yzis.org) for a vim compatible clone that implements 
ktexteditor and is therefore embeddable in KDevelop
