could be. In the client box there are not printers installed. The call goes 
through "kprinter -stdin". kprinter.h seems to manage this, perhaps qprinter 
does'nt

a lot of try and error, but scaling does it finally. The question remains, if 
a program with this solution is portable to systems with other printers. But
