Hello

I have a problem with my SVN client. It worked for several months without any 
problems, but all of a sudden, nothing works anymore. When I run svn up in my 
kdelibs tree, it just answers "svn: Can't recode string" unless I do an 
"export LANG=en_US" (which is not my locale), then the answer becomes

svn: REPORT request failed on '/home/kde/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: The REPORT request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse error 
at line 1: Extra content at the end of the document
. (/home/kde/!svn/vcc/default)

When I try a fresh checkout ("svn checkout 
https://tkadauke@svn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/3.5/kdelibs"), the same 
happens. I even wiped out my ~/.subversion directory with no luck either. And 
yes, I googled for about an hour now :)

Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? I'm out of ideas what I could try to 
get it going.
