From kde-devel Thu Mar 23 19:39:42 2006 From: Stefan Winter Date: Thu, 23 Mar 2006 19:39:42 +0000 To: kde-devel Subject: Bug #123765 - no clue, strange symptoms Message-Id: <200603232039.42374.swinter () kde ! org> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=114314281116052 Hello, could someone with lib knowledge take a look at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123765 It looks like a simple app problem at first, but in the end it turns out that strange line breaks appear during parsing of a KProcess. The line-breaks *really* shouldn't be there. Lines break even *outside* of the KProcess output within a kdDebug(), see: kwifimanager: iwlist: Protocol:IEEE 802.11bg k wifimanager: iwlist: Mode:Master where kwifimanager is the executable name, which is automatically added during calling kdDebug(). Far beyond my knowledge, the reporter talks about strange interrupts happening in the middle of the function. Maybe just a FUBAR system?
