It still fails to build, but it gets substantially farther along. Now I get many repeated errors about undefined references to qt_x11_translateButtonState(int) like so: g++ -fno-exceptions -Wl,-rpath,/home/kdedevel/kdesvn/build/qt-copy/lib -o t2 .obj/debug-shared-mt/main.o -L/usr/X11R6/lib64 -L/home/kdedevel/kdesvn/build/qt-copy/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lqt-mt -lpng -lz -lXrender -lXrandr -lXcursor -lXinerama -lXft -lfreetype -lfontconfig -lXext -lX11 -lm -lSM -lICE -ldl -lpthread/home/kdedevel/kdesvn/build/qt-copy/lib/libqt-mt.so: undefined reference to `qt_x11_translateButtonState(int)'collect2: ld returned 1 exit statusmake[3]: *** [t3] Error 1make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/kdedevel/kdesvn/build/qt-copy/tutorial/t3'make[2]: *** [sub-t3] Error 2make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... I think this means there is a function call to qt_x11_translateButtonState(int) in libqt-mt.so but that function isn't defined in libqt-mt.so. Grep reveals this function is renamed from translateButtonState(int) by Lukos' patch 0002-dnd_active_window_fix.patch. The patch log says that patch was applied, yet it seems it wasn't? And further along I get dozens of warnings about unused parameters similar to: ../../../../src/3rdparty/libmng/libmng_chunk_io.c:5982: warning: unused parameter ‘ppChunk’ all in the libmng*.c source files. Any ideas how to fix these errors and warnings? Thanks again. Regards, Mark >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
