The problem is that GMP is a very touchy library.  The makefile created 
by Konstruct uses different compiler options than the makefile created 
by running configure manually.  It compiles fine with the compiler 
options used when running configure manually, and it doesn't compile 
when using the set of compiler options that Konstruct passes to it.  As 
for which option or options specifically cause this, I haven't a clue.  
I haven't had the time to look into it at that depth.
