I don't know how you'd specify the difference between the Kompose activation and the desktop scrolling, but I'm positive we'll think of something... I'm not sure you could get it directly integrated with whatever'd be appropriate (the KDM, maybe? I don't know...) but it'd ge nicely as a seperate package. Perhaps call it "Konquistador" or something like that... assuming "Konquistador" isn't reserved for the next generation of Konquerer : ) I think you've latched on to a good point though in that Kicker needs to folllow you around. Perhaps you could change the display of the VD pager so that the area you're viewing is highlighted a certain colour, so you could still see where the windows are... You couldn't have it replace VDs though - too many people like them. I've tried to use them, but I just don't get it when I have something nifty like Kompose around : ) If you smashed all of 'em together (Kompose, VDs, and you're new idea) you could call it the "Konquistador" metapackage to really help you "Konquor your desktop!" : ) But yes, you've got a great idea there, and someday when I'm more advanced I'd love to help bring it to fruitation - assuming someone hasn't already beat me to it, of course. >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
