Hello
it seems that openssl and 3.5 does not work together:

both pop and smtp stopped working after upgrade to kde 3.5 from alioth (debian 
unstable system). Also https does not work in the konqueror. All come with the 
same message

"The process for the https://www.something.de protocol died unexpectedly."
and for kmail:

"The process for the smtp.... protocol died unexpectedly."

On my systems there are three openssl versions installed:
libssl-9.6 7 and 8, the last being 0.9.8a-4

has this problem surfaced elsewhere?
