I have a backup plan in case absolutely nothing happens with it by the
time KDE4 is about to roll:

The RDC portion is just a front-end already, so I was going to rip out
all the VNC code and just make it a front-end, too. There are plenty
of existing VNC apps that run rings around what KRDC can do now.
Providing support for several of them shouldn't be a problem. Then it
will just sort-of be a generic remote desktop front-end program.

The need to install something else will probably elicit some squeels
from users, but I really don't know what else to do. It's not
attracting the attention it needs and it is really starting to get
behind. Just run any other VNC app and you can see how poorly KRDC
holds up.

Plenty of time to worry about that tho... Hopefully someone will show
up in the meantime.
