They won't be released with a KDE release but neither is KOffice. I might be terribly mistaken, but as far as I understand the purpose of KDE= =20 extragear is to provide a module of release worthy software that is not=20 included in the main modules for a reason and this reason might be that it= =20 needs a faster release cycle but I don't think this is the only valid reaso= n. Again depending on my current information and interpretation I find it very= =20 likely that packagers will update their packages for extragear software eve= n=20 if KDE itself isn't released, thus giving any maintainer of software in=20 extragear the possibility to become part of distribution repositories and=20 released between KDE releases. Having an application in kdereview with the goal of getting it into extraea= r I=20 hope it works that way :) Cheers, Kevin =2D-=20 Kevin Krammer Qt/KDE Developer, Debian User Moderator: www.mrunix.de (German), www.qtforum.org --nextPart3405736.Mdq11HxfcQ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBDUXcPnKMhG6pzZJIRAoZfAJoDzcr5i+ebgkNqo4MDogalJ0jDBwCfS4a4 I1p4y/7R6CamuMRpCXJ1vww= =sV+2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart3405736.Mdq11HxfcQ-- --===============1137188359== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe << --===============1137188359==--
