Normally it's been pretty good about being ran quite regularly.
One other option would be to have the provider lists be configurable per app. For \
now, SK has the provider list hardcoded. This of course is a bad thing in more ways \
than one.. but maybe this means that we need to have some collection service \
available that a user can go in an update in kcontrol for each application that \
supports NewStuff. It would at least provide a failover, which is at least one \
approach to solve outages like this.
Maybe a bug is in order for applications that use NewStuff to have configurable \
providers for their downloadable content?

yes, that's why I wanted a kde server for KNewStuff where we devels could fix
stuff like that instead of relying on an outside person.
