In Akregator backend implementation (using metakit), I use myStr.utf8().data() 
when storing, and myStr = QString::fromUtf8(theCharArrayFromMetakit) when 
reading. No encoding breakages were reported until now. That is metakit, but 
why shouldn't it work with sqlite that way?
