Hello, Alexander
Going to "kcontrol | Sound & Multimedia | Sound System | Auto-Suspend",
what does it say in the box to the right of "Auto-suspend if idle
after:"? On our system (KDE from Branch 3.5 on Fedora Core 3) I have
it set to auto-suspend after 1 second. Works perfect for me :) I must
admit, though, that for a few weeks, I had it set at 0 seconds, and I
was wondering why I still had to kill arts everytime I wanted sound in
another application.....
Have a Great Day,
Steven P. Ulrick
