How can that be?

Hell yes I would remove it, given the proper permission anyone in their right
mind would. I mean do you know how much its worth? ;D

If your asking if I would remove any background tiles that resembled an Art
Deco style? I am not aware of any that do. So I am unable to answer this
question.

I find all of your comments interesting, and some disturbing. There seems to
be a distinct difference between something that is considered a classic,
verses being outdated. But, just as you said in your way, this is subject to
individual perspective. The thing that I find ironic is that the whole point
of this post to this, other mailing lists, and websites, is to gain a wider
perspective before proceeding with any action.

The list had been shortened. I changed that because you had asked about
removing the Paper tile. My intention behind reposting the complete list is
was to make sure there was no surprises or bombs dropped on anybody. When I
stated that "We need your input before we can go on to the next step." it is
meant in earnest. The thing that I find disturbing is what seems to be an
attempt at insult all throughout your reply. We are not making any rash or
self motivated decisions here. Hence the very post that you are reading.

I fail to understand what it is that I wrote that would warrant any level of
emotional response on this subject? If my repost of the original topic seemed
insulting in any way I assure you it was purely and entirely by accident.

As for the tiles in question of course the final list will be put in the
appropriate folder.

In the end we are just a group of people wanting to contribute to the most
beautiful and powerful D.E. that we believe exists. Simple as that. :)
