KDE 3.5 is based on Qt 3.3.x, it will not work with Qt4. Furthermore, it 
should work with gcc4 but make sure to use gcc 4.0.1 or better as 4.0.0 is 
blacklisted as it miscompiles certain code in kdelibs.
