From kde-devel Sat Aug 06 02:36:01 2005 From: Gary Cramblitt Date: Sat, 06 Aug 2005 02:36:01 +0000 To: kde-devel Subject: [KDE4] QCString -> DCOPCString Message-Id: <200508052236.01939.garycramblitt () comcast ! net> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=112329587528935 The KSpeech DCOP interface in KDE 3 has a number of arguments of type QCString. It appears that these should be changed in KDE4 to DCOPCString (which inherits from QByteArray)? I assume this will break all apps that use KSpeech? If so, would QByteArray be a better choice? What are other DCOP interfaces doing about this issue?
