Hi!
obviously the file and the sessions can be deleted manually, but I'd like to 
know  why some sessions (kmail, kmobiletools) restart even if I close the 
apps before logout.
shouldn't these sessions be removed from ksmserverrc on logout and only active 
sessions be included?

may be this happens (only)  if the app crashes and a previous session is 
restarted on startkde

http://www.kde.org/areas/sysadmin/startup.php does not say anything.
