Since nobody replied to my question, I assume, it has been a little bit 
confusing.

However, I found out what was my problem:
I tried to assemble multiple QRadioButtons exclusively into one ButtonGroup.
The problem was that some of them has been embedded into a separate QLayout.

Being written down manually one discovers the flaw immediately, but the 
designer is sooo nice and hides away all doubts...;)

Is it right then, that the buttonId property is not available if embedded into 
other widgets than QButtonGroups?
