Hello,

I am trying to write a kfile plugin for changing the
acl permissions of files. This is a feature targetted
at sysadmins mostly, as mounting partitions in acl
mode is mandatory. It will be better off of the
regular kde permissions dialog anyway.

So far, i have encountered an annoying issue regarding
the use of mimetypes, the meta-information is
displayed with "inode/directory", but it refuses to
appear if "all/all" or "all/allfiles" are used.

Is this is a bug ? Does anyone have suggestions to
make it work as expected ?

Thanks,
Thomas

the kfile plugin tutorial was tried, and a test app is
on:
