You are arguing against people who have read the generated assembly code 
for very tricky parts of code, and compared it against the code generated 
by older gcc versions. What's more, those deficiencies are recognised by 
the gcc developers themselves.

I know Dirk and I know of his work with the gcc team, including very 
detailed bug reports. 

So, how much effort have you spent confirming that the bugs we are 
alluding to aren't there? Have you read in detail the assembly code for 
khtml? Have you even run the khtmltests?

I'm sorry, but without hard evidence that you have done your homework in 
guaranteeing gcc4-by-RedHat is free of known bugs, we can't take your 
word for it.
