Ah, yes. It is there:

$ kreadconfig --file kioslaverc --group Proxy\ Settings --key httpProxy
http://193.49.225.9:3128
$ kreadconfig --file kioslaverc --group Proxy\ Settings --key ProxyType
0

So, even though I have a proxy, it's disabled.
