Hi all,
I'm doing some cleanup of my home directory before start a new job which will
make me out of my projects from some time, and while I was tarballing a
backup of my old .kde directory (took by Gentoo), I found out that there was
quite a lot of data in it (122MB), also after removing the cache directories.
I took a look with filelight and I found out that there are some caches which
are stored into the share/apps directory, for example kiten .xjdx files and
KDevelop Assistant index and search databases.

What's the general policy about caches? Should they all go into .kde/cache, or
there're cases where the cache can be put into the apps directory?

I thought it was something like /var/cache and /var/lib (/var/cache can be
deleted without risks at all, so it can be not backupped).

Just a simple question for the future, to know how to behave :)
