I don't want to use utf8. For me it would be just fine, as my 
system runs on utf8, but as other developers use other encodings 
they will get the same problems with my utf8 encoded file as I 
got with that "euc-jp" encoded cpp-file I'm about to convert.

Or is it common for kde projects to use utf8 encoding for the 
source code? It don't think so, because then I would have never 
had a problem with (some of) the kdeedu/kiten files.
