There's also the websites being fantastically inconsistent (and wobbly wrt. 
their use of trademarks, anyway).

It (KDE) combines ease of use, contemporary functionality, and outstanding
graphical design with the technological superiority of the Borgified 300MHz 
Kitten RS6000 operating system POSIX extensions and nanoprobes.


I can see that catching on as a platform.
