> What is your version of automake?
> Does replacing kdnssd/Makefile.am with version attached in this mail help?
It looks like there are several automake "trees":
[mstevenson@localhost kdenonbeta]$ rpm -qa |grep make
make-3.79.1-18
automake15-1.5-9
automake16-1.6.3-5.fdr.4
automake14-1.4p6-7.fdr.2
automake-1.8.5-0.fdr.0
The *.fdr.* rpms are 3rd party (from the KDE Redhat Project=20
that I needed due to dependencies.=20
automake15-1.5-9 is the stock Fedora RPM. As a test, I removed the fdr=20
automake and replaced with the latest official Fedora Core 2 automake packa=
ge=20
(1.8.3-1) but that didn't seem to change the results.
Your included Makefile fixed all the kdnssd errors. Still getting the same=
=20
errors from kifi, kifidaemon, and ksynaptics though. Perhaps I should=20
build/install the latest version of automake from gnu.org instead of using=
=20
fedora RPM's?=20
