From kde-devel Fri Oct 29 14:51:39 2004 From: Fons Rademakers Date: Fri, 29 Oct 2004 14:51:39 +0000 To: kde-devel Subject: Building 3.3.1 on x86_64 with konstruct... Message-Id: <1099061498.29831.938.camel () pcsalo ! cern ! ch> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=109906155727684 Hi, I've build the complete KDE several times already via konstruct. Works like a charm. However, when I try it on my new Athlon64 with FC2 (+ all patches), I get all kind of problems (first qt default platform is not correctly set so build fails), next in many KDE packages the I get: checking build system type... Invalid configuration `x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu': machine `x86_64-redhat' not recognized and the build fails. In the konstruct changelog I see mention of port to x86_64 but how to use it (maybe I over-read it in the doc). If not with konstruct, how then best to build for x86_64? Any help appreciated.
