Bero, I must admit I've always liked some of the ideas behind Ark Linux even if the distribution itself isn't yet ready to be used in an environment such as what I need to do my homework in. I offered to volunteer once before but I felt out of the loop because I had no idea what was going on and what needed to be done. Rather than run off and start my own distribution which would probably be doomed to fail without the leadership of someone experienced with Linux I'd gladly try to volunteer what C++/Qt skills I have along with my limited skills at making RPM packages to further the progress of Ark Linux. I will need to know a few things first: - Where do I find out what tasks still need to be done? - Where do I go for help? - Is that problem where my computer's clock would run at over twice the speed fixed yet? It would be helpful if I knew which ISO images to download from Dockyard, I would like to have en_CA language support or alternatively en_GB and I would like to have everything I need to create packages as well as write programs with C++ and Qt. As for my homework I can move that over to my Windows partition for as long as I need until I can get a second computer, so no problem there. If you preffer you can reply to me off list. Thanks. >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
