Message-Id: <200410261401.36364.ulrick2 () faith4miracle ! org> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-devel&m=109881823019300 Hello, Everyone First of all, I want to thank all of you for your excellent work :) Not only would I reccomend to people that they switch from Windows to Linux, but I would also gladly recomend that once they get to Linux, that they would use KDE. Anyway, this "issue" has been bothering me for some time. If it is the intended behavior, please let me know. But I confess that I Hope that it is not the intended behavior :) In the "File Already Exists" dialog box, let's say that I choose to move any amount of files and I drag them to a particular destination and chose to "Move" them. If those files already exist, I only ever get the options as shown in this screenshot: http://www.faith4miracle.org/FileAlreadyExists-Move.jpg If I take exactly the same files, drag them to the same location, but this time choose to "Copy" instead of "Move", I get the following results (this is how I would like the "File Already Exists" dialog box to look all the time.): http://www.faith4miracle.org/FileAlreadyExists-Copy.jpg After making my choices to either skip or overwrite, when it gets down to the last file, the dialog reverts to the undesired "Move" behavior: http://www.faith4miracle.org/FileAlreadyExists-Copy-LastFile.jpg Like I said at the beginning of this message, if this is a feature and not a bug, I would like to know. My personal opinion is that there may always be a reason to skip or autoskip, irrespective of whether I one is copying or moving. Actually there are a few other options that I would like to see in this dialog, but that's for another time..... Operating System: Fedora Core 2, All Packages installed, All official Updates installed (Except the kernel) QT: 3.3.3 from TrollTech source tarball KDE: CVS HEAD QT and KDE paths are both exported in my ~/.bash_profile.  I did not overwrite the FC2 default KDE.
