I've been noodling with an idea like this for a while, it's essentially and 
expert system that takes current and past "trends" of the system's hardware 
and software into account and would ask the user what they would like to do 
to solve the problem. This AI-Administrator, as I've dubbed it in the write 
ups I'm doing, would then present teh options that best fit the situation and 
carry out these tasks with the help of pam.d to allow it system access with-
out needing the superuser password. Is this what you were talking about?
