Regarding the X-Mail format, excuse me because the line 
"X-Mail-Format-Warning: Bad RFC2822 header formatting ....." does not appear 
in the code of all messages displayed in blank by kmail.
But for example in comment #35 (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84896#c35) 
you can see there a line saying:
...
Received: (qmail 14202 invoked by uid 0); 27 Aug 2004 07:39:17 -0000
X-Mail-Format-Warning: Bad RFC2822 header formatting in KMail are you using 
Ze?
X-UID:
... 

Anyway im going to attach again the ethereal logs compacted in bzip2 format.
