Great you mention this. For a rather long time I wished someone had started a 
science module. I would be very willing to join such a project. It might be a 
little bit difficult to find out whether some apps would be more suited for 
kedu, koffice or this scientific module but for most this should be 
decidable.

So if you ever go this direction I will come along :)

PS: Too sad a name like klab cannot be used since it is already in use by 
someone else. Has to be kscience or something from some other nonlatin-based 
language ;)
