I've been trying to fix some things that irk me, and I'm just finding it really tough going understanding what is going on. I think I need to write my own KDE app (well I've done a few demo ones just to get a feel, but I need to do something more complicated). I just need more time I think, it's quite a learning curve. Also, in gdb, how do you put breakpoints in bits of code that's in a library? e.g. I wanted to run kopete under gdb, but half the source is in libkopete and gdb wont let me put breakpoints in there. I've only ever debugged my own apps before, and they're usually single threaded and written in C (easy).
