I believe that the default setup for Netscape Plugins is a serious mistake.
Perhaps it was OK at the start, but now that many people have Konqueror as their
only browser, it is somewhat of a kludge.

The default is a whole list of directories where Netscape or Mozilla plugins
might be installed.  If you don't have another browser installed, this is
stupid; if you do have other browsers installed, it can lead to conflicts.

And, there is also the Mozilla plugin issue.  Mozilla plugins have two files, an
*.so file and an *.xpt file.  The correct installation of these files in Mozilla
results in a plugin that KDE finds but will not use. :-(

An additional result is that now this kludge has propagated to CodeWeavers
products (CrossOver) which does not support a directory for plugins in KDE. :-(

Perhaps it is OK to have all of those other directories as defaults, BUT there
should be -- as the first two entries in the list -- KDE specific directories.

I am using:

	$HOME/.kde/share/nsplugins
	$KDEDIR/share/nsplugins

as my only two: "Scan Folders".  Unfortunately, due the the CrossOver problem,
the first one needed to be a link to: "$HOME/.mozilla/plugins".  However, now 
the new version CrossOver Office 3.0 fixes that problem.

It appears to me that adding these two directories (or other suitable ones if
these don't fit in the KDE guidelines) as the first two in the defaults would be
the first step in fixing this problem.
