Hi,

I feel that many KDE developers are starting to think that C++ is begining to
lack some features and it's becoming a language of the past, though there is
a general oppinion that C++ has still some advantages over .NET or Java.
That feeling is IMHO some what sustained, but also influenced by the huge
propaganda about those platforms.
That's my oppinion, and I wouldn't like to see C++ replaced by one of those
two (that April joke really scared me ;)

However, things move on, and it is extremely difficult to add new features to
C++, due to is complexity.

Today I looked at this article http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=6761
and after read it (I followed the last link also) I think it's the one.
It's called D :)

I wonder if, in a few years, KDE will not be implemented in D...
