using gcc-3.3.2 to compile this:

--prefix=/opt/gcc-3.3.2 --with-gnu-as --with-as=/opt/binutils-2.14/bin/as 
--with-gnu-ld --with-ld=/opt/binutils-2.14/bin/ld 
--enable-languages=f77,c,c++
Thread model: posix
gcc version 3.3.2

Any quick workaround?
