Hi,

i recently got the same problem but with cdrom. KDE was not able to unmount CDROM. The same with some floppies i tried to format with KDE but after format was done i could not mount them.

This bug appears to be important to the average user because my comment
closing it is #107.

I believe that the original problem has been fixed and I am going to
suggest that new bug reports be created for other problems and for devices
other than disks.

I will submit one on the SideBar issue. My to do list grows. :-)

I suggest that anyone working on this section of code should try to read
this and any help in sorting it out would be appreciated.
