while this works, it also tends to take forever =) here's a shortcut that 
almost always works: cd into the top level directory of the module and run 
the create_makefiles script from kdesdk with the subdir that the error came 
from. e.g. if you get the "No target" error in kdebase/kcontrol/style, then 
go into kdebase/ and run `create_makefiles kcontrol/style` ... this will 
re-gen the missing/munged Makefile(s)
