Hi,

i just want to add that some distributions come with commercial apps like SuSEs YaST \
installer but this does not change the fact that almost all KDE apps are free. Cheers
Alex

Perhaps having the sentence about libraries first, otherwise it sounds like
"Everthing in KDE is GPL. Oh by the way libraries are even LGPL"

What yout
"Yes, KDE is free software according to the definition of the FSF.
KDE libraries are licenced unter LGPL to allow proprietariy application
development. KDE applications are mostly GPL licensed to support the ideas of
free software.

Cheers,
Kevin
