What build system are you using? automake? unsermake? You might want to 
replace the METASOURCES = line in the Makefile.am in 
kpilot/conduits/vcalconduit with METASOURCES = AUTO and try again. (Let me 
know if that helps, I forget why I changed it to non-auto metafiles).
